The annual Newport Folk Festival will be taking place on July 28-30, 2017 at the Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island. The line-up includes artists like The Drive-By Truckers, Fleet Foxes, Margaret Glaspy and many more. To go along with the music the festival will be hosting local food trucks and craft vendors. Co-created and co-curated by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and The National's Aaron Dessner, the Eaux Claires festival (June 16 and 17, 2017) is a "do not miss" event of the year. The line-up this year includes acts like Wilco, Chance the Rapper, Paul Simon with YMusic, and many more. Members of Bon Iver and many other special guests will pay tribute to John Prine by playing all of their favorite songs from his extensive catalogue, and you can expect to see John joining in on the fun too. Nashville videographer, Molly Secours, combines the renowned images of photographer Jack Spencer with John's cover of Hank Williams' "Just Waitin" for the video which premiered on Garden & Gun. “When I heard John sing ‘Just Waitin,’ I immediately wanted John and Jack to meet,” Secours says, “and this song seemed like the best introduction.
